Last year a good friend of mine asked me to come up with a way for her to carry sticky note pads in her purse without damaging them. After trying out several of my own patterns and methods, I finally came up with a cute little cover to keep her sticky note pads safe and sound. I wanted a stylish way to keep them covered when not in use, but ready to use as soon as you needed to jot down a note or make a quick grocery list. After a few trial an error methods, I found that double sided tape was the best for keeping the little note pads in place. Using at least two pieces of double sided tape holds the note pads perfectly in place while writing on them once you open the cover. Making the sticky note pad covers is so fun and easy and the best part is I’ve found a way to use up all those great little fabric scraps from my sewing room.

Double sided tape is awe.some.ness! I remember a time when I had to roll tape into a circle and stick the ends together to make both sides sticky LOL!!! What a pain…

Here’s a shocker, I’ve never used double sided tape. It’s almost like a myth to me, I’ve heard of it but never used it. LOL! It’ll be useful with lil man, maybe he’ll tape himself still?
