Christmas Visit to the NC Museum of Life + Science

The NC Museum of Life + Science are one of my favorite places to visit in the Triangle area. Located in Durham, this museum has so much to offer both inside and outside. Inside, you can sit inside a real Apollo Space Capsule, touch a 13-foot tornado, play with math, hear motion at SoundSpace, and see more than 75 animal species of Carolina Wildlife. Outside, you can Explore the Wild (a 6-acre outdoor exhibit), Catch the Wind, walk the Dinosaur Trail, see (and smell) farmyard animals, and visit the Butterfly House and many other exhibits all at your leisure via the paved walking trail.

When our niece was here visiting over the Christmas break the NC Museum of Life + Science was at the top of the list for things to do during her visit with us. One of the must see exhibits during our visit was the Holiday Springs & Sprockets: Art That Moves, by Steve Gerberich. We saw this exhibit last year and knew our niece would love it too!
